ADELAIDE captain Taylor Walker will come under the scrutiny of the Match Review Officer after being reported for a high bump on Geelong defender Zach Tuohy at the Adelaide Oval on Thursday night.
Walker’s shoulder made contact with Tuohy’s head in a collision in the Crows’ forward 50 late in the first quarter.
The 28-year-old Cat came straight to the bench and was bleeding but didn’t show any initial signs of concussion.
Following assessment in the rooms, Tuohy returned to the interchange bench after quarter-time and to the field early in the second term.
There has been plenty of heat in the match early with Geelong skipper Joel Selwood also needing help from trainers after a bump from Bryce Gibbs.
More to come
