WA Police are investigating whether a Melbourne man who may have attended the AFL grand final on Saturday is in breach of a COVID-19 quarantine direction.
A picture posted to the official Instagram account of the AFL appears to show Hayden Burbank, 49, at the grand final at Perth Stadium on Saturday.
This morning WA Police issued an alert seeking the whereabouts of Mr Burbank and another man, 39-year-old Mark Babbage.
A later update from police confirmed the two men had been taken into custody.

)The alert seeking information on their whereabouts said they had recently arrived from interstate and were “suspected of failing to comply with a direction (Emergency Management Act)”.
It also said they were believed to be in the state’s South West region yesterday, driving a black car.
Neither man had been charged with any offence as yet.
